Our Origin
Xtend Capital grew out of oncology drug discovery, and our very first investment went right back into the biotech company we founded. For us, an exit isn’t the finish line — it’s the fuel to keep growing the company and solving for human frailty at the molecular level.
That work taught us something that carries directly into how we invest: durable value comes from addressing root causes, not symptoms. Whether it’s a disease pathway or a systemic risk in an economy, the same discipline applies — diagnose the actual mechanism, then build the fix. We hold this work not as owners but as stewards. Capital, people, and time are entrusted to us for a season, and we consider it our responsibility to return them whole — and better than we received them.
What We Believe
Every person carries an inherent, inviolable worth. We believe the individual is the fundamental unit of value. This is not a convenient economic assumption but a conviction: a person’s dignity is something no market can grant or take away. Markets, institutions, and technologies exist to serve people — never the reverse. We look for investments that widen individual agency over data, identity, health, and capital, rather than concentrate control elsewhere.
Trust is expensive, and worth pricing. Opaque or poorly-governed systems carry a hidden cost: the friction and risk of not being able to verify what’s actually happening. We’re drawn to infrastructure — technical or institutional — that lowers that cost through transparency and verifiability.
Resilience beats optimization. We’d rather back something that holds up under stress than something that’s merely efficient under ideal conditions. What is built on solid ground may be shaken, but it does not fall. This shapes how we evaluate biotech platforms, infrastructure plays, and emerging digital asset systems alike.
Human excellence resists full automation. Our first work was solving for human frailty at the molecular level; this belief extends that same commitment upward, to the level of a life fully lived. A person is not a unit of production to be optimized away. As capital increasingly flows toward systems that replace human judgment and labor, we see enduring value in the domains where human effort still matters most directly — athletic mastery, live performance, and craft. Investing here isn’t nostalgia; it’s a hedge on what remains irreducibly human, and a way of honoring the distinct gifts entrusted to each person.

- Longevity media operations — running a specialized online media platform that disseminates science-based knowledge on longevity, helping individuals steward their own health wisely and take ownership of their health spans.
- Resilient infrastructure — systems (technical, financial, or institutional) that reduce single points of failure and increase transparency.
- Digital sovereignty — technologies that return data, identity, and economic agency to individuals, including select digital asset infrastructure.
- Human potential & the arts — early investment in athletic and creative development (youth sport, musical theater, and other performing and fine arts), grounded in the conviction that human excellence and creative expression carry an irreducible value planted in each person.
Our Approach
We invest with a long horizon and a builder’s perspective — most of our team has operated companies, not just allocated capital to them. We aim to build things that last, and to be found faithful partners in the building of them. We look for:

우리의 시작
Xtend Capital은 항암제 신약 개발에서 출발했으며, 우리의 가장 첫 투자는 우리가 설립한 바이오텍 기업으로 다시 돌아갔습니다. 우리에게 엑싯(Exit)은 결승선이 아닙니다. 그것은 회사를 계속 성장시키고 분자 수준에서 인간의 취약성을 해결해 나갈 수 있는 연료입니다.
